Children Photography - Sweet Mr. K - Michigan Photographer

These wonderful parents have been so blessed with the love of this awesome little man! I know I have said this before, but I feel so blessed to do something that I love so much and meet such wonderful people like Mr. K.

This family is starting a new journey heading out west for a new job. I wish you all so much luck on this new phase of your lives. If you need a recommendation for a photographer out west, just let me know.

On to the preview:

Family Memories…

Talk about fun….

This family was a BLAST! I have to be honest that I was so afraid of getting a bunch of people who really didn’t want to have their picture taken, so I was so relieved when I arrived and found a group of 21 people PERFECTLY dressed and game for any ideas I threw at them.

Thanks to everyone for the Fantastic evening. Everything worked out just the way I feel it was supposed to, including having the weather break for us at just the right time.

Here is just a very, very small sampling of this fabulous, fun, fantastic crew!

(I will probably share more as I get them edited)

Happy Father’s Day

I have the pleasure of living next to this beautiful family. I was so honored when they asked me to take their family photo this year.

I love photographing families who “get it”. They get my style of photography and are completely relaxed in front of the camera. I love it when families act like I am not even there and just interact with each other. The posed photos are important too, so I always get those out of the way first….then it is time to just relax and have some fun.

We had the pleasure of seeing a little bunny rabbit as well. It almost let little Miss V walk right up to it. It was pretty amazing!

Webberville Relay for Life 2008

What an amazing event this was. If you have never been to a Relay for Life you are missing out on one of the greatest family events ever.

I laughed, I cried, and I laughed again. We experienced extreme heat and humidity, raining bugs, then thunder lightening and rain. However, nothing can dampen the spirits of a community raising up against the beast that we call CANCER.

At the end of this post there should be a slide show that will give you a good overview of the events that took place, but I wanted to post some individual photos that have made me laugh and touched my heart. The purple shirts represent survivors.

Natural Beauty

This sweet heart is such a beautiful little person. We had a grand time exploring the MSU Children’s Garden. We discovered tadpoles, fish, frogs, and many different kinds of flowers. I have the best job in the world! Ms. S has the most amazing family on top of it all.

It was hard just picking a few photos to share, there are sooo many that I just love!
