Merry Christmas {Howell, Michigan - Family Photographer}

Can anyone else believe how much snow we have gotten?!?! And we are supposed to get another 4 inches or so tonight. It looks the the North Pole…..not that I have ever seen the North Pole to have a reference point, however, this is what my 4 yr old tells me

I am here in my warm office wrapping up some end of year business as well are working on some exciting new projects for the new year. I didn’t want my blog to get too neglected though while I am working so hard behind the scenes.

As I was working on one the exciting new projects I stumbled upon some photos from this past summer when my brother and his girlfriend came to visit from California. These are just some snaps but they pull me back in time to a warmer day.

Then this scene on my balcony catapults me back into this negative degree weather….BRRRR!!!

Beautiful Mama {Howell, Michigan - Maternity Photographer}

I LOVE maternity photo shoots for two main reasons…

(1) I get to photograph a beautiful mother who glows with love for the child she is carrying, and

(2) It means that I will get to photograph a newborn soon

This is one of my favorite maternity sessions to date. She was so willing to sit/stand/lay down, anywhere I asked….not always an easy feat when you are carrying around a humanbeing in your belly I might add; and her husband did pretty good too

I was so excited to get these beautiful sihlouttes, I was practically jumping up and down….good thing this mom and I are friends

Off Topic… {Howell, Michigan - Photographer}

This may be a little off topic, but many of you know that the fight against cancer is something that is near and dear to my heart. My husband recent had the pleasure of seeing this great preformer in person. He said it was the most amazing experience.

Holiday Deadlines {Howell, Michigan - Photographer}

December 2, 2008 – 10:27 am

I just wanted to let everyone know that I need to have orders in by this Saturday - December 6th - to ensure delivery before Christmas. Orders for albums need to be in by Thursday - December 4th - because of the amount of time that goes into designing and ordering them.

And because I can not post without some photos here are some snaps from the big snow we got.

Urban Winter Photo Sessions - Take 3 {Howell, Michigan - Photographer}

Here is the last set in my Urban Winter Promotional Photo Shoot. You have seen both of these girls earlier in the year for their senior portraits. I don’t think these girls could take a bad photograph and they are so awesome to work with. They were real troopers too for working with me in the freezing cold. I think it was totally worth it though.

If you would like one of these Urban Winter Photo shoots here are the details:

How much is it? (the important question, right?!?)

Since these are shortened sessions the sitting fee is also shortened. Instead of a $100 sitting fee, you will only have to pay $50.

What do I get?

- 15-30 minute photo shoot at an “Urban” (or a country/rural) location
- 10-20 shots of your kids/family in nice coats/hats/scarves/boots/etc.
- a complimentary 8×10 from the session (a $40 value)
