New Backdrop & My Girl {Photography by Sabreena - Howell, Michigan}

Even though I don’t do a ton of studio work, I like to be able to provide a variety of options to my clients. So this is my new grey backdrop.

I can’t express to you how thrilled I was to get these shot. People say to me, “You must have a ton of shots of your own kids!” In reality I don’t. They have the dreaded PKS (Photographer’s Kid Syndrom). The signs of this are that the kids refuse to follow any kids of directions when it come to taking photos and eye contact is nearly impossible! I have backed off my oldest for a while and I think she is finally actually enjoying having her photo taken now.

Twin Newborns {Photography by Sabreena - Commerce Township, Michigan}

What an amazing experience it was to photograph newborn twins again. This sweet brother and sister were so good to me. They are 6 weeks old and already growing like weeds! :D

I have so many favorite images from the session, but just grabbed these ones to start out with.

Irish Eyes… {Photography by Sabreena - Lansing, Michigan - Newborn Photographer}

What perfect timing with St. Patty’s day right around the corner. This little Irish guy won my heart over being an Irish girl myself ;)

I promised I would try and get a few of these up today since I will be at a workshop all weekend. I only had a couple minutes to grab a couple, but this little guy doesn’t take a bad photo!

Happy Birthday Grandma!!! {Photography by Sabreena - Howell, MI}

I meant to post this yesterday, as yesterday was her birthday, but it is the thought that counts, right? ;) I called her yesterday to wish her a happy birthday and it sounded like she was already having a great day! She is such a wonderful lady with the kindest heart that you would ever know. She is always worrying about everyone but her self (a curse that runs in the women in our family ;) ). My girls love their great grandmother SO much and you can see it by the way they light up when they see her.

These are just some snap shots from last summer, but they speak volumes to me.

Newborn baby “S” {Photography by Sabreena - Howell, Michigan - Newborn Photographer}

This session reaffirmed for me that I am truly doing what I am meant to do in life. This little one had a rough start to life. She is doing great now, at 6 weeks old, and she is so beautiful with her red hair. I loved watching this family interact with her. Their love for her is so evident and I believe their gratefulness for this sweet little life has been strengthened tenfold because of the trials and tribulations they have been through.

Another beautiful family {Photography by Sabreena - Howell, Michigan - Maternity & Newborn Photographer}

I am so so lucky to photograph such beautiful families. I know I have said this same thing before, but it is so true. Little E is now 3 years old (where does time go?!?) and she is going to be a big sister soon to a little baby girl.

Watching my 2 girls grow up together makes me so excited to see the sister bond that Miss E with have with her sister as well.
