I am totally in love with the family session! Alot of times going into family session I try to have a vision in my head of some poses I would like to capture. This is one of those sessions that went almost exactly as planned and I was so trilled!

This beautiful girl is so great; She loves her family, she loves her dog, and she is GREAT with kids (I can testify to this because she is also a wonderful babysitter).
Dogs are alot like toddlers…you never really know how they will react on the day of a photo session. Well, this beauty was fabulous and you can totally see the bond between these two.

This young lady was very natural in front of the camera, which makes my job so easy! I loved her idea for senior portrait locations; She is the one that inspired me to ask the family in the previous post to use their sunflower field.
I totally love her shoes and how well they match the barn in this last one!

What a fun session this was!! I love when seniors suggest something fun and different. This senior wanted urban style, but not with the grunge feel that most are going with. She was the clean, contemporary, urban feel. Well she is just beautiful and doesn’t need much of a backdrop to take a beautiful photo.

I am a bit behind on my blog post and I totally apologize for that. Most of you are recieving your galleries before I get a chance to post on here, but I am taking a little time today to play catch-up on my blog. August is completely booked at this point. September is going to start booking fast as that is the ideal time to start thinking about your yearly photo for your Christmas and Holiday cards. I have some beautiful new designs for cards this year and will be announcing my special in the next day or two.
For now here is a sweet little girl who is now 6 months old and the smilest baby you will ever meet!
This family is such a special family! Last time I saw them they were adapting to their new life with a newborn. Now they are getting use to life with an almost toddler. Little Miss J is almost 10 months old and such a doll. It was a total shock to remember that tiny baby and walk into see how much she has grown.
I love the beautiful lighting in this one and the sweet expression she has…
and last but not least….daddy’s girl!
I love the connections that children form, not only to people but also to loved objects such as a stuffed animal.

Here it is August 4th and I have August almost completely booked…What a blessing!! I do have a few weekday evening openings for High School Seniors, children and families. I have a few limited day time slots as well for newborn sessions. These will all be first come first serve and a deposit will be needed to hold the dates.
It is not too soon to start thinking about a session to have your Christmas and Holiday cards done. The fall sessions book very quickly, so please don’t wait!
Also, with newborn sessions, let me know as soon as possible that you when your due date is and that you are interested in a session so that I can be sure to leave a general opening for you. I already have 2 babies due in October and 1 in December.
On to the fun stuff…this recent session is with my very first “Watch Me Grow” client. She is now a big sister.
