Expecting Baby {Photography by Sabreena - Michigan Maternity & Neweborn Photographer}

Michigan weather makes photography a bit challenging sometimes. We had challenges with finding a day to do this session and then the day we finally get schedule there is a 50/50 chance of thunderstorms. Well, I have learned that unless it is down pouring out to take the chance and I am SO glad we did. It ended up being a beautiful night with a beautiful couple that is expecting their first little miracle. It actually started to rain just as I was leaving the session, so I think it was meant to be. I promised I would get a few previews up for them before leaving for California tomorrow….

So here we go…

Please Pray… {Photography by Sabreena; Michigan Newborn Photographer}

I don’t typically ask much of my client’s, however, I am putting out a prayer request. The sweet baby girl pictured below is facing some challenges in her short little life when they discovered water on the brain (may not be the correct terminology, so forgive me). She is doing better after surgery, however, I am a true believer in the power of prayer, which is the reason for this request.

Double the fun! (Photography by Sabreena - Michigan Newborn Photographer)

This little boy and girl were truly the sweetest little angels! They call them “Baby Boy” & “Baby Girl”for short. Baby girl is such a strong soul. She was born with a cyst on her ovaries. Thankfully the doctors were able to remove the cyst and save her ovaries. She has so much spunk it is unbelievable! Baby boy was a star sleeper, staying asleep the whole 3 hours. He was such a great little model for me.

And these two are lucky to have such a great big brother!

This little girl’s amazing nursery was designed with so much love you can just feel it! Her grandfather did the murals and her name is done in her mother’s handwriting. There are SO many special details!

Blessing of new life {Photography by Sabreena - Newborn Photographer}

I can’t explain what a blessing it was to be invited to photograph before and after this sweet babies birth. So much emotion can be felt in all of these photos, from the anticipation of the c-section to bring this little one into the work, to the dad coming into the waiting room to announce the sex of the baby, to the little brother meeting his baby sister for the first time.

IT’S A GIRL!!!!

Here is where my tears started flowing…This big brother was in total awe of his baby sister.

I couldn’t help but show so many; and I have one last one to share…she flashed grandpa a little smile…

Baby Z {Photography by Sabreena - Newborn Photographer; Lansing, Michigan}

This sweet girl was so good for me and made my job so fun. She has 2 sweet dogs that watch over her like she is their very own puppy…it was the sweetest thing I have ever seen!

Here are a couple photos to show what I mean. We were almost done with the session and I was just getting the blankets and sweet Baby Z set up. I turned to get my camera and came back to this guy keeping a very close eye on both me and Baby Z. I know I already said this….BUT….It was the sweetest thing EVER!

And this collage….it just makes me *sigh*…she looks like such a doll in these photos and already has dad wrapped around her finger…SO SO SWEET!

Baby Girl {Photography by Sabreena - Newborn Photographer; Lansing, Michigan}

This sweet little girl is going to grow up in the most wonderful family environment! She has two great siblings that are going to watch over her and protect her in addition to her loving parents. It is so fun to see the difference between seasoned parents and brand new parents. They are so easy going and relaxed and really just go with the flow. However, even though they are seasoned parents there is one thing that I see with all parents regardless if this is their first child or their fifth….that look in their eyes…that connection to this tiny little being that changes everything!
